KnowVU Platform

KnowVU is a faculty knowledge base that enables teachers to share educational innovations and best practices. The platform builds bridges between technology and didactics through close collaboration with educational experts.

The main challenges were building bridges between technology and didactics, creating a scalable community for teachers, facilitating knowledge exchange, and developing a user-friendly interface for non-technical users.

We developed a scalable community platform where teachers can exchange best practices. PHP, Laravel and WordPress formed the technical foundation for a user-friendly system that supports both technically and didactically challenging requirements.

The result is a successful implementation at VU Amsterdam with an active community of teachers, improved knowledge exchange between faculties, and a solid foundation for further educational innovation. The platform combines the power of Laravel with the user-friendliness of WordPress, resulting in a flexible and scalable system for academic knowledge exchange.
