Blue-List

Blue-List is a complete recipe management and shopping list platform that combines cooking inspiration with practical planning. The application offers an extensive community where users can share recipes, generate shopping lists, and exchange cooking tips through the integrated blog.

The biggest challenges were complex relationships between recipes, ingredients and shopping lists, implementing social interaction (likes, comments, sharing), automatic shopping list generation from recipes, Progressive Web App functionality for mobile use, and SEO optimization for recipes and blog content.

We developed a modern Laravel application with Livewire for real-time interaction. The platform integrates recipe management with intelligent shopping list generation, where users can add recipes to lists with automatic ingredient consolidation. The blog functionality creates a community where cooking enthusiasts share tips and experiences.

Core features include recipe management with tags, categories and search functionality, intelligent shopping lists with automatic ingredient consolidation, social features like likes and personal notes, a blog platform with comment system, an admin dashboard with user and content management, Progressive Web App functionality for native mobile experience, and SEO-optimized URLs and metadata.

Technically, the application is built with Laravel 12 and uses modern web technologies. Livewire provides dynamic user interfaces without JavaScript complexity. Filament offers a powerful admin panel, while Spatie packages provide advanced features like tags and permissions.
